New Forum? phpBB => IPB 1.3 Final
on: Thu, 08. January 2004 - 11:45:45
This phpBB has 2 major disadvantages:
- The search does not work properly
- Printing a page is just ugly

If you want to print a page, you do not have a print button like other boards (IPB). For me it would be extremely usefull if I could print a posted problem and read it in detail on my way home (bus and train).

I would setup and convert the whole thing, so no posts would be lost. I would make a new FAQ which would contain a german and the english FAQ. I would take care of the skin, so the IPB would look similiar to this design.

I think we need a new board.

Invision Power Board (IPB)

Key Features Include:
- Fast and efficient programming and database usage
- Customize the look of every page using standard HTML in the skinning system
- Powerful and easy to use administration area and tools to control your board and your members
- Print topic
- Mass deletion of posts (optional)
- Very good search
- different Hacks (I coded)

Opinions on this?

All old links (activefish.com) are gone. I converted them to the new site (vlib.clausvb.de).
